Yes, the future of our nation and our freedom depends on it. American born millennials tend to take their freedom for granted. The US Constitution and Bill and of Rights were put in place to protected those freedoms. As new Supreme Court Justice's are appointed, their decisions will affect generations. If they are not grounded in interpreting the US Constitution as our forefathers intended, we can and will loose our constitutional rights. This will affect every American for generations to come.
We can already see the writing on the wall:
- The word 'disagreement' has been redefined to mean 'hate' or 'hate speech', 'bigotry' or 'racism'.
- The focus and emphasis on 'anti-bullying', instead of personal responsibility, is redefining a generations perception of 'free speech', and creating a culture of 'blame' and 'dependence'.
- Emotion has become the driving force in our political decisions, instead of education, common sense, and Holy Spirit lead decisions.
- The cultural perception of our freedom being taken for granted as something that will not, and cannot be taken from us, has created a generation that is in a dangerous state of 'denial'. Those that live in war and terror torn countries know that freedom is not easily established, once lost.
- The cultural perception and redistribution of Christian charity and love from the Church, to the Federal Government enables every form of greed, corruption, waste, crime, and oppression that the world has ever known, and will know, to manifest.
- Fear has driven people to push legislation to 'protect' people, but fear creates a cycle of 'outside' control instead of personal responsibility and God enabled self-control. It also opens the door to every companion to fear; true hatred, corruption, control, greed, pride... and the list goes on.
